I-F: Sorry

(click on image for a closer look)

Sometimes you just need to escape.....

gouache and ink on paper, with a tiny bit of collage thrown in for good measure.

(My first foray into gouache - fun!)

This is really sweet and refreshing...considering all the sad sorry faces we've been seeing since friday.

oh yes, there have been some sad looking people around this week, nice to see someone so joyful!

Love the idea with the collage. My favorite Part of your Illo is the girl's hair! Beautiful Work.

I like it! Your experiments of late with the heavier black outline and rich colors seem to "pop" a lot more than the "Under the Sea" piece from a few weeks back. Can't wait to see more.

This is so fun! No apology necessary, she's right...sometimes you just need to get away!!

Very pretty, deceptively simple. It has a Cinderella feel to me, for some reason! I like it!

Wonderful illo, (especially for a first attempt at gouache) but there's no need to be sorry. Sometimes you do just need to get away from it all.
