I-Fri: Still raining

OK, so this one is fresh off the presses this time. I seem to keep getting these images in my head that I must get out. I love it! I haven't felt this creative since university...

I generally do quite "let's all hold hands and be joyful" type illos, so I wanted to try something a bit more... melancholy. I thought rain would be an appropriate topic to try that on, so this little bear came to be. poor little guy.

Really great background texture.

Effectively sad, but still cute. This reminds me of the time my brother "ran away from home" in the rain, but only made it to the top of the hill, where my parents found him with an umbrella.

Great! I love that you've kept it so dark. Looks so moody. I also like the frame a lot. (:

It's raining (and raining and raining) here, too. So much rain would make a cute little bear sad. At least he has an umbrella.

I must say, I'm quite envious of your masterful watercolour skills. That background is wonderful. I also love the blanket-stitck border on the little hill.

It is very gloomy!
I have also felt that sensation of being as creative as in the university

Wow, the medium is the message! This pic looks like it was painted by rain, or in the rain. Lovely combination of linework and colour bringing out a clever concept and well composed picture.
