I-F: Garden

I wish there was one tree in my "garden", just ONE! But I don't think we can even call it a garden yet, it's more of a field. Yes... a blank canvas we keep telling ourselves... we can do whatever we want! but unfortunately (as much as we really love this house) just about EVERYTHING needs doing, and a garden is a bit further down the list. But it will be fun once we get to it!

This is sooo beautiful! And I can relate to living in a house where everything needs doing, especially the garden...ours is also a blank canvas, to put it nicely!

I'm sure your garden will look like this someday. What a great vision... I love your style, especially the real drawing of your cat and how your stylized him with real character. Hard to do.

I want a sweetheart tree in my garden, just to watch it bloom!

Really nice! I like thecarving in the trunk! Cute detail.

I can relate as well. We built a house a little over a year ago and still have stuff to finish inside! :P This prevents me from getting out in the dirt which I so want to do.

Would like to link to your blog if that's OK.

Love your tree - all trees should grow hearts.

Get that tree planted soon - before anything else - most important!

Thanks for your comment on mine. x

I just loooove your trees Kim!! They are so beautiful and ornate, just lovely. You should take these designs and have them made in iron. I can almost see how beautiful these would look hanging on a wall!! Or as a headboard on a bed frame!

I love trees too. I only have one in my backyard and is a mango tree. He, he I love it but twice a year is awful with so many mangos laying everywhere and you have to watch your head.. But they are too good, so i can't complain :o)

Thank you everyone! I am really enjoying doing these trees.

It's funny you should mention that about iron, Alicia, because I was just at a garden shop where they had iron scultptures of trees and they just looked so beautiful. so I agree with you!!
